I built this farm from scratch in Amazonia, Missouri, because I genuinely love every part of the process - from wrangling chickens and growing vegetables to tinkering with preservation methods and getting way too excited about compost temperatures. It’s just me out here (well, me, a few dozen chickens, and the fam), and every apple, egg, and freeze-dried pepper that leaves this place has been grown, harvested, and preserved by hand. (With a little help from some gadgets, power tools, and my family.)
